May an organization apply for a Charity Grant if they have received one in the past from INS?
Yes, an organization may apply for a grant even if they have received one in the past. Applications are reviewed by an independent committee and monies are awarded per their recommendation.

What are the eligibility requirements for applying for an INS Charity Grant?
Iowa Network Services, Inc., invites public and private non-profit agencies to submit applications for assistance with charity drives and/or specific projects for your communities. Only those communities served by Iowa Network Services participating companies are eligible to submit an application.

What is the average amount awarded for a Charity Grant?
The average award amount ranges from $250 to $1,500 per grant recipient.

When and how will we find out if we have received grant money?
After the end of each quarter the committee members meet to go over the applications. The grants are then processed and applicants are notified as to whether or not they received a grant. INS Representatives will contact the telephone companies and recipients to set up a time to present the grants.
